Biography

Dai Hongmei graduated from Kunming Medical University with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in 1996. She has since been engaged in clinical ophthalmology and teaching. She serves as a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Kunming Medical Association, a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Yunnan Association of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine, a member of the Yunnan Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Expert Database of the Kunming Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and a member of the Yunnan Provincial Experts Association. She has pursued further study at the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department of Peking University First Hospital, Qingdao Eye Hospital, and Beijing Tongren Hospital. She has been invited many times to participate in the “Yu Pengnian Brightness Action” and in provincial and municipal cataract blindness prevention surgeries.
